Do you issue Title Policies?
No. Central Tejas Research and Title Services is not a Land Title Insurance Company. We are a research and document retrieval company.
Do you search criminal records?
No, we only search civil and property records.
What counties do you work?
Central Tejas Research provides document retrieval services from almost any county within the State of Texas. Our reach is constantly expanding. Here is a short list of our core counties: Bastrop, Bell, Bexar, Brazoria, Burnet, Caldwell, Collin, Comal, Dallas, Denton, Fayette, Fort Bend, Galveston, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Harris, Hays, Jefferson, Karnes, Lee, McLennan, Montgomery, Rockwall, Tarrant, Travis, and Williamson.
What if I need documents from a county that is not listed above?
Fill in the Document Request Form, select "Other County", and specify the county in the blank area.
How long will it take to receive my documents after I place my order?
- Core Counties (listed above): 1 to 2 business days for plain copies and 1 to 4 business days for certified copies.
- Other Counties: 3 to 5 business days for plain copies and 3 to 10 business days for certified copies.
- Response times do not include weekends, holidays and courthouse closure days.
How will I receive my documents?
After you place your order with our online system, your files will be uploaded to your account and will be available for download after payment. If you have ordered Certified Copies, you will need to supply a mailing label or arrange to pick up your documents. You can email FedEx/UPS labels to email@example.com.
What if I made a mistake on my order or need to cancel a request?
Please contact our office at 512.469.6026 as soon as possible. If the request has already been completed, your account will be charged.
What if I have questions before I place my order?
If you have any questions, you can either call our office M-F between 9 am and 5 pm CST at 512.469.6026 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we would be happy to help you.
Do you require a deposit?
A $50 deposit is required for all first-time clients. If your initial order is more than $50, you will receive an additional invoice when your order is completed. If your order is less than $50, you will receive a refund when your order is completed. Established, steady clients are invoiced regularly.
Do you offer volume discounts?
We offer competitive rates for perpetual clients/projects. Please contact our office to learn more.
How do I set up a corporate account?
Click on Register and select “Corporate Account”. After the account is verified you will be able to add users to the account and consolidate billing for all of your employees.
